I'm gonna have to go with john wayne on this one. He's more of a legend than even clint eastwood, and he didn't survive the cowboy western film days, wheras eastwood is even now making sissy movies. Both are tough as nails though. But wayne fought in vietnam movies too, where the NVA were 6 foot tall monsters with jackboots, but still. it's gotta go to JW. Clint Eastwood does not, to my knowledge, have commemorative pistols made in his honor, like wayne does.
