The Best Trek Crew Ever...

This is a thought experiment set in the Star Trek universe.
If you had to select an elite crew to staff a special temporal ship with a vague mission involving fighting shadowy enemies and righting what once went wrong, and you could pick any character from any of Trek television or film,
who would you pick and why? Note that anyone selected will have pertinent technological and social advancements downloaded into their brains, so no one will be "behind" in technology or blind to the "current" political landscape.
Commanding Officer: Who sits in the big chair?
First Officer: The person that balances out the captain, and does the crap work while the captain drinks a tasty hot beverage.
Operations: general ship operations, scans, other stuff
Conn Officer: Flies the ship, navigates
Chief of Security: The officer in charge of hitting people
Science Officer: In charge of science stuff?
Tactical Officer: The person that picks where to shoot
Chief Engineer: the person in charge of keeping the ship running
Medical: The person in charge of watching the machines repair you
Counselor: Meh, useless.
Ensign: The plucky yet annoying side character that grows into a fine young officer
Civilian: The insightful civilian that cooks, serves drinks, steals your money, or fills some other useless role
Extra: This slot is for anything from a favorite recurring red-shirt, to a main character that is essential to the ship but not covered by the other categories

Commanding Officer: Picard (His ability to find peaceful resolutions through diplomacy are renowned throughout the galaxy)
First Officer: Spock (It's only Logical)
Operations: Data (He can keep track of several tasks at once)
Conn Officer: Sulu (Ohhhhh Myyy!!!!!)
Chief of Security: Odo (He was able to keep up with Quark)
Science Officer: Seven of Nine (Assimilate the new data)
Tactical Officer: Worf (For Kahless with honor)
Chief Engineer: Scotty (It will take 10 hours to explain Captain, no less)
Medical: Bones (Damn it Jim, I'm the best doctor in the fleet and you can't trade that for Particles of light)
Counselor: Emergency Medical Hologram (It is a useless position anyway so might as well fill it with a useful backup doctor)
Ensign: Harry Kim (He needs to have another chance to find that one girl in the galaxy)
Civilian: Quark (Who else would take care of the Latinum and keep Odo on his toes)
Extra: Ginan (She is the only true counselor for Picard, and being able to see possible futures is a plus)

Commanding Officer: Old Spock (Balance of logic and emotion, over a century of experience in some of the most pivotal situations in federation history, superior physique, psychic powers, exceptional knowledge of science/diplomacy/tactics/engineering/everything, and has experience as a captain)
First Officer: Archer (Haley convinced me. He balances Spock, he’s one of the few people with a high enough empathy/diplomacy to get through to spock after the captain has his mind set on something, he has experience convincing stubborn Vulcans of things, and he’s got a fair amount of time travel under his belt.)
Operations: Data (No explanation required)
Conn Officer: Wesley Crusher (He’s a lieutenant now, he’s a genius, he has magic Traveller powers, and he piloted the flagship for 3 years before he even got his commission. I’d still rather have Mayweather, but Wesley is the logical choice…)
Chief of Security: Odo (He watches, he waits, he turns into a chair. He hates everyone. There is no better security officer.)
Science Officer: T’Pol (Brilliant, hot, awesome. Multi-talented with experience in Vulcan high command, combat training... Nuff said.)
Tactical Officer: 7 of 9 (Too useful to not be on the crew, her astrometrics/science/borg knowledge might be informative to the position, and let’s face it, weapons aren’t that hard to operate as long as you can think quick and be precise. Tasha and Worf both did it.)
Chief Engineer: Trip (All the engineers are awesome, but trip shows the ability to learn/grow/mature, he made real improvements to his ship, he’s determined, he wrote the manual on ‘Fleet ships, and he’s more adaptable than any of them.)
Medical: The Doctor (It was hard, initially went with Bashir, but the EMH is just better, and in a few corner cases his holographic nature can be a lifesaver for the crew.)
Counselor: Garrick (Initially Archer, since his empathy score is actually better than Troi’s, but Garrick is just such a good listener. And he’ll kill any motherfucker that screws with the ship.)
Ensign: Lal (In the future they stabilize her positronic net, and we get a second, more mutable Data. Also, the father/daughter android working relationship would be great to watch.)
Civilian: Sisco, post DS9 (Because an ex-captain and prophet of the wyrmhole-aliens serving you drinks at the bar as he babbles about the future-past is hilarious. Also, there’s the episode where all the commanding officers are gone/dead/unconscious and he takes command of the remaining crew, leading everyone to victory.)
Extra: Jadzia Dax (She’s good at everything, and needs to be on the ship. She can literally fill half the other positions.)

This is almost exactly what I would choose. I will have to do an actual work up later if I have time.
