***BEGIN TRANSMISSION***
Statement of Purpose: Control is seeking recruits for Panoptic Task Force Americas 4 (henceforth PTFA4) to investigate the event that occurred in the Oklahoma City metropolitan area on or around July 7, 2028 11 xx.
Requirements: Successful applicants will meet or exceed the following qualifications according to Conventional Standardized Aptitude Tests (CSAT): Attributes: 8/6/4, Abilities 18/13/8, 10 ranks in spheres of influence, Enlightenment 4, Willpower 6, Backgrounds 10, Freebies 20
Other Information: Members of PTFA4 will have directly participated in no less than 5 successful combat engagements (individually or with one another; applicants are encouraged to apply in groups). Control seeks to assemble a multi-Conventional Task Force with a diverse array of specializations including, but not limited to: advanced psychological techniques, chaos theory, reality deviants, energy weapons, biology, and extradimensional entities (xenobiological or otherwise). Successful applicants are likely to be chosen from those with experience as a part of multi-Convention amalgams or actual membership in up to two Methodologies or Conventions, and who show strong proficiency in a particular area of Enlightened Science. Members of PTFA4 will be strongly team oriented and have few or no problems working with others to achieve results that may have been impossible for individuals.
Mission success is considered Priority 1 for all Conventions. Mission success may result in long term assignment to PTFA4 for surviving agents.
Upon selection, recruits will report to Agent S of the New World Order's Operations Division in USA, Texas, Dallas to receive the details of their assignment and complete their preparations.

Less IC: We talked after Gideon's game about what the cleanup of the mess that was made might look like. I think it'd be exceptionally interesting to actually play through that cleanup from the Technocratic point of view. To that end, this game is intended to be fairly short-ish, probably no more than 2 or 3 sessions (tops, maybe less, depending on what happens), and performed by experienced technocrat characters. The 'crats have realized that this is serious business, and so they're not sending in rookies, they're sending in tried and true problem solvers and cleaners to be their first eyes and ears (and other) on the ground. The team will go in, do what they can, and then report back with recommendations or success. The system, as one might guess, is that of Mage: The Ascension, Revised, with plenty of material borrowed from not-so-revised for Technocrats, including especially the Guide to the Technocracy and various Convention books. (See me if you need books.)
Character creation is as listed above. Enlightenment (aka Arete) should not go above 5, and no more than 1 Sphere may be rated at 5. Given the nature of the problem, the team will probably need at least one person that has Mind 3-4 (to "flashy-thingie" bystanders), someone that specializes in Dimensional Science (aka the Sphere of Spirit), and probably specialists in Matter, Life, and/or Entropy (because of all those damn zombies); no one person will be expected to have all of these, that's why Control is looking for cross-Conventional agents. Because I know how incredibly tempting it can be to take Dual Traditions and Sphere Natural, I am simply going to provide both at no cost (dual traditions does slightly less for technocrats anyway in terms of foci, and the xp benefit of both is just too much to pass up in most cases).
The Panopticon is a cross-Convention security Methodology formed in response to the Rogue Council in the Mage meta-plot. Most of its members are drawn from Iteration X's BioMechanics, NWO's Operatives, the Progenitor's Damage Control, and the Void Engineer Border Corps Division (though not exclusively, by any means). In this case, Control wants a multidisciplinary team that can handle a wide range of needs (read spheres and abilities) so that they're able to address a very wide range of potential problems (since the situation on the ground is mostly unknown). Membership in the Panopticon functionally provides the 3-pt merit Panopticon Agent, which allows members to access some backgrounds possessed by their teammates, even if they're normally restricted by Convention. It also provides two dots in the background Panopticon Rank which allows extremely limited access to the Resources, Backup, Secret Weapons, and Spies backgrounds controlled by the Panopticon as a whole.
