It was discussed that we would do character creation stuff this saturday, and do a mininal amount of rp. I want to read the scavanger kands book before doing more than 4 hours of play.

Ok a edit on npc creation: I will add 1 celestial exalt at 50xp to the requirements and double the reward to 2 charms.

Also there is not a time limit on these npc's

Hearth Cat form would definately require Wyld Adeptation (Cold). Oh yes.

That would be awesome.

the flame griffon is still viable if you take the wyld shape knack. you could even be a flying whale with the right knacks.

as far as game time, apparently we are playing saturday... though this is brand new to me, as i thought we were just going to make chars and play your game. whatever works tho.

and... i hate. i guess i'll go make another char sheet. btw, i'm not obeying the exact point limitations, i'm trying to stay roughly around them though. and i have to make another character for my lunar mentor in the SP.

I don't think that knack expands spirit shape options. I cite the two knacks that let you take smaller and larger forms as spirit shapes. These knacks explicitly allow you to take a broader range of animals as spirit shapes whereas the Wyld-creation one does not.

honestly, the rules are silent on it. it gives the precedent, but then doesn't really define it much. for example, by your interpretation, you cant be an insect spirit shape, as the second size reduction doesn't explicitly say that it is allowed, however it is just an expansion on one that already is allowed...

meh.

if people want to play abyssal then that is fine. I am flexable. People had given me the impression they wanted to play this weekend.

It also doesn't feel thematic to me to be a non-natural creature, but that is, of course, an opinion.

I am ok with anything that adds flavor to the game. If i get a good story/explanation for it then i will allow it.

Spirit shape info: Pangolin Near the bottom are links to actual species rather than pangolins in general.

I take that back. Can we use the modified Familiar rules I have on the wiki so I can make a Dire Pangolin as a familiar? :P

I will likely say yes to that, but I will have to review the rules. Either way we can find a good middle ground so you can get one.
