I am sad that I can't play my palidine/crusadar. Many people have negative emotions about bo9s unfornately.

Current model of bonus feats:

Tactical feats, Ambush Feats, Item Creation Feats, and "Environment Feats", that is, the General feat list from a specific environment book. If picking "Environment Feats," specify Frostfell, Sandstorm, or Stormwrack, and you may select your bonus feats from the general feat lists from those books. Consult me on any setting specific qualifiers in feats you desire.

Again, the list:

Tactical
Ambush
Item Creation
Sandstorm General
Frostfell General
Stormwrack General

to simplify my life and yours, the additional playable races from the PF bestiary will include only races for which a character creation stat block is provided with their entry, and which have a CR less than 1. These include Goblins, Orcs, Hobgoblins, Kobolds, Tengu, Drow, Duergar, and may include others I haven't found yet.

I will continue to contemplate this, and the possibility of taking a template in lieu of a class.

addendum: You may take both of your PrCs out of the same class under certain circumstances. If you feel that this would "make more sense" for your particular build, then chances are you'll be permitted to take them both from the same class. An example of this would be if you have one spell casting class and one non-spell casting class, and wish to take two spell casting progression PrCs.

race: elf
class: fighter 20/wizard 5 (specialist?), Eldritch Knight 10, Abjurant Champion 5
Feats: Tactical or Item Creation

Stepping outside my comfort zone to play an arcane caster, and an Elfy piece of shit. Should be interesting. Maybe I can hate myself and try to be a dwarf...

of possible interest, the "plague" rampant in the city you will start in is Demon Fever from page 557 of PF core rules. It has been rampant in this area for months and, combined with the famine, is responsible for significant mortality. You may begin play uninfected if you so choose.

I will probably be without internet for the next few days. On my kindle I can access my gmail and will do so periodically as I travel. I'm on planes from today until tomorrow, and after that on a bus. I would be happy to entertain questions about this game and will continue to work on it as I go, since I have little else to do.

So, after doing some reading, I think I'm interested in an Alchemist/Wizard (specialty in conjuring, probably) combo. Some research on the Pathfinder forums regarding the Alchemist indicates that it has a number of problems that need fixing. In particular, their bomb mechanic requires 3 actions (1.5 rounds) to use (one to retrieve the catalyst vial [move], one to infuse it [move], and a third to throw it [standard]), they are unable to actually brew potions in any way, and their mutagens supply a bonus of a type that is trivially replaced/provided by common magical items (an enhancement bonus). There are some others (the utility of poisons is brought up), but those are probably the big three.

There's a number of suggestions on the forums for fixing these, and I'm not sure that this is the right place to list them, but I'd like to negotiate changes to include some of these if this is the class combo I end up rolling with. (Some of these changes are obviated by also being a Wizard, but make a lot of sense)

Im thinking maybe a barbarian 10/ranger 20 with frenzied berserker 10, on barbarian side. Berserker will need a bit of tweeking to be compatible with PF barbarian, but I don't think it will be that difficult having reviewed both classes.

Will probably choose Tactical as my extra feats, and will be looking at the tribal barbarian alternate class features to optimize my build.

I am as yet unsure of my race. I may just go with human, but Orc is kind of tempting, depending on your finalized decisions concerning races.

of note, my prior idea is contingent upon a few things. Depending on how things play out, the other option I reserve is:

Race: Human
Class: Barbarian 10, Champion of Gwyn 10 / Oracle of Bones 10 w/another class
Feats: Most likely, Tactical

You should make Rage Feats an available tree.

Also are you letting people play those PF races without Level Adjustments? I need to know, cause I want to play an orc, but wont if it costs class levels.

I have decided on barbarian 9/ fighter 20. with Goliath as my race with a +1 level adjustment.

Using standard PF rules, there is no such thing as a level adjustment anymore.
