They both are the result of 5 seperate pieces coming together to become a more powerful warrior.

They meet planetside and 'The Captain' is the aggressor since Votron is the one stomping around on all the trees.

ok, cat robot voltron wins, but car voltron would actually lose to captain planet, because cars cause pollution. cat robots aren't the polluters that cars are.

Hmm, good point. So your theory is that only when a enemy is actively causing pollution, can Captain Planet prevail.
I was going with the wonton environmental destruction caused by giant robot fights, to give Captain Planet a bit of motivation, that and the fact that he might be able to absorb the Voltron Flaming Sword energy.
I'm still not sure if he could win, but it might give him a fighting chance.

dude, the princess gets out of blue lion and seduces fire ring guy. and then his girlfriend gets bitchy. and then she gives mati (or whatever heart ring kid's name is) head. that team is so distracted that when the other 4 lions (not even formed into voltron) come by with their little tooth knives out, the team doesn't know what hit them.

but now the voltron force has a new magical artifact! gooooo Voltron!
