I would need to know where the rules for flaws are located in order to approve them.

Sorry, but 3rd is as high as I'm willing to go.

I had thought that you guys would be spending your starting gold from 1st level, and I had been planning to catch you up to your current gold in short order. If you'd rather have 3000gp to start then I'll adjust down your loot for the first few encounters.

Medium progression.

You're in Pavis because that's where you are. Due to the plague entrance into other cities and town is forbidden, and due to the famine banditry is really high. It's up to you to determine why you are here, what you were doing here, and why you've stayed this long. You probably are staying in a camp on the outside of the city walls, to try to avoid getting Demon Fever in the cramped conditions inside.

Gold allowances, as I understand and concept them, actually represent both your character's currency and their belongings, regardless of the origin, and vary by character class to represent the demands of the various professions.

This region is in abject poverty, as a result of the famine. Magic items should be of the type that you can easily conceal and would not have already been sold for food.

The teamwork benefit is not a feat, and all the teamwork benefits in DMG2, Dungeonscape, and anywhere else they appear aren't feats, and are earned through training and having certain skills and feats present in the party. See the section on teamwork benefits in DMG2 starting on page 189. The "already got it" teamwork benefit is not exclusive to the barbarian tribe, if two or more other players aren't in the tribe, they might have been adventuring or travelling together for a time before the game starts and might take a similar benefit.

All good things to know. Just FYI I like starting w/ the gold of a 3rd level adventurer. It makes life simple for you and us.

As far as flaws go, they are located in unearthed arcana (p 91), and are designed to add flavor to a character just like in any other system. You take a penalty of some sort, and gain a feat in return. It recommends not allowing more than 2 per character for obvious reasons. I can tell you they are good to take if you have weird requirements for a build.

I will look at the teamwork stuff.

On that note, is anyone looking at definately not being from the tribe? Might be able to work something out. I'm still not firm on which class combo I'm gonna play, so I could really go either direction.

I am pretty sure I won't be from the tribe. I want to be from a city, makes more sense for a cleric bard.

I think the tribe should have a spirit companion that followed us out of the desert, and watches over us. The rules are in the DMG2 right after the stuff on teamwork benefits. They act a lot like totem spirits from WOD werewolf.

They require a ritual, gold, and experience from each team member and then give benefits to the group as a whole. They are really neat, and I would like you to consider them. The rules start on page 195.

Hey gid, i was wondering if you could take a look at the prc Singer of Concordance in Race of the Dragons on page 91. For prerequisites it has dragonblooded race and worshiper of Io, i was wondering if I could qualify for the prc without meeting those two prerequisites.

You may disregard the deity requirement as there is no dragon deity currently in the setting. I feel that the dragonblooded requirement could be substituted for the draconic heritage feat. I'll continue to put some thought into the class and let you know if I decide to completely disregard the racial requirement.

Yes, but do read your spell carefully. Your frostbite damage is for the last hour before the game started, before that you may have been going in and out of cold damaging areas but would have had access to a fire.

Purify food and drink is only of limited use in the famine, as people are already eating trash and waste just to stop being hungry.

Tonacatecuhtli
Domains: Law, Chaos, Good, Evil, Fire, Air, Water, Earth, Plant, Animal

Tonacatecuhtli is a god beyond time and beyond comprehension. Deaf to the concerns of most mortals and even most gods, Tonacatecuhtli is the god of spirits, fey, aberrations, and all creation as one. Believed by many to have been the god who created this realm but who came from somewhere else, Tonacatecuhtli is alien, distant, and approaches emotionlessness. He is called "The Empty One", "The Outsider," "Many Eyes Without Focus," and "The Silent Serpent" by various primitive peoples and ancient manuscripts. He has no formal monastic or clerical order among the races that walk the earth, though individuals and cults occasionally follow him. As a 10 domain god, he is more than twice as powerful as any of the gods of zodiac. Some consider him to have his own sign, the solar eclipse, and a few born under it manifest traits granted from his attention. He is the god of the Aboleth and of the other intelligent Aberrations, but also of all of nature. Tonacatecuhtli is the god of everything together, indiscriminate to nearly all concerns of mortals and gods alike. His favored weapon is the touch attack. Those born under his sign or who revere him gain Aberrent feats.

Well, since this game will be running every 3rd Saturday still giving me a Saturday off, I will probably be able to play in it, assuming that there is still a slot open of course.
